Beat the Streets Chicago – Niagara Falls Trip, 2016

On the weekend of June 3rd-5th, Beat the Streets Chicago Sponsored a trip for the Chicago All-Star Team. The Chicago All-Star Team Coaches, David Burchett Sr., Montrele Stokes, and Lloyd Jimenez took 14 wrestlers from Chicago to Troy, New York. Beat the Streets Chicago provided the opportunity for the kids to travel to Ontario, Canada and then to Troy, New York to compete in the Headlock on the Hudson Free Style and Greco Tournament.

The team stopped in Ontario, Canada to visit Niagara Falls. They got see the firework show and the lighting of the Falls at night as well walk through downtown Niagara Falls to visit stores tourist attractions. The team then drove to Troy, New York where they were hosted by Curby 3 Style Wrestling Club. Curby 3 Style Wrestling Club set up a camping trip for the team.

The team competed in the outdoor tournament, Head Locks on the Hudson, and walked away with 12 medals in Free Style and Greco.
