LIFE CHAMPIONS ACADEMY
The Life Champions Academy is a free Life-Skills + Wrestling program for Chicago youth wrestlers in grades 7 through 12. The Academy meets once a month from September through June usually on Sunday. There are ten sessions total. Wrestlers are expected to make at least eight of ten.
Participants receive: exclusive wrestling training, field trips, dedicated Coach-Mentors, Academy Gear, priority access to tournaments and trips, tournament fees waived, $250 Fargo stipend and a celebration outing in June.
There is no cost to participants. The Life Champions Academy is funded by a grant from DRW Corporation.

Application period for the 2023-2024 Life Champions Academy begins July 24!
All applications are online. Names of two references we can call must be included.
The application period opens Monday, July 24th at 3pm central time. Applications due Friday, August 18th at 7pm central time
Acceptances will be communicated via email on Wednesday, September 5th.
TYPICAL SCHEDULE
9am - 11am: Life Skills Workshop with Guest Speakers and Activities
11am - 12 noon: Lunch and Personal Time
12 noon - 2pm: Wrestling Clinic exclusively available to Academy members
