BTSC Awarded Sports Matter Grant from DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation

We’re proud to announce that Beat the Streets Chicago has been selected as a recipient of The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation’s Sports Matter Impact League, a three-year partnership dedicated to expanding access to youth sports across the country.

Through this incredible opportunity, we’ll continue to create pathways for Chicago youth to grow through the sport of wrestling, building the grit, discipline, and confidence that carry far beyond the mat. Together with The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation, we’re working to ensure that every child regardless of their zip code, has the chance to become a Life Champion. 

To make the moment even more special, we were honored to celebrate this recognition at a Chicago Sky WNBA game in August, surrounded by a community that believes in the power of sport to change lives.

We’re grateful for this partnership and excited for the journey ahead. Because when kids have access to sports, they have access to opportunity.
