Road Trip! 25 BTSC Wrestlers kick off preseason at Ohio competition

On September 27–28, 25 Beat the Streets Chicago high school wrestlers traveled to Sandusky, Ohio, for a preseason tournament that pushed them to grow as wrestlers and teammates. Competing against top talent from across the country, our wrestlers embraced the challenge head on as we left with 5 girls and 2 boys placing inside the top 8. Beyond the matches, the weekend was filled with shared experiences—long bus rides, team meals, and plenty of laughter. These moments helped build stronger connections and deeper confidence heading into the winter season. Trips like this remind us that wrestling is as much about personal growth as it is about competition.
