Beat the Streets Chicago was proud to host the second of our two IKWF tournaments this season: the Susan Collins Memorial, held at Oak Park and River Forest High School.
The tournament brought together nearly 900 wrestlers in total, including over 275 BTSC wrestlers. Tournaments like this are a huge part of our mission because they give young wrestlers the chance to experience real competition in a positive, high-energy environment. For many of our kids, it’s an important step in building confidence, learning how to compete, and discovering what they’re capable of on the mat. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make the day possible, from coaches and volunteers to families and supporters who continue to show up for our kids. Most importantly, we loved seeing our wrestlers represent BTSC with grit, effort, and pride.
