See it, Be it: Wrestlers Explore Careers

This summer at STEAM Camp, Beat the Streets Chicago wrestlers explored a wide range of career opportunities through hands-on experiences and guest-led sessions at our three anchor locations: Midway, Avondale, and Roseland. Campers had the chance to visit major companies like Powerhome, Executive Construction, and Old Dominion Freight, where they learned about real-world career paths in business, skilled trades, and logistics. In addition, several specialists visited our sites to share their expertise and inspire the next generation. We want to thank those who generously donated their time this summer: Amanda D (yoga), Sam & Jamil Smart (hygiene and health), Coach Nunn (occupational therapy), and Leslie Maloff (art specialist). Their mentorship helped show our youth what’s possible beyond the mat.
