Young Professionals score win at Blackstone

When Cody Keane joined our Young Professionals Board, he brought not only passion for youth development but also a belief in the power of corporate engagement. This summer, Cody represented Beat the Streets Chicago in the Blackstone Gives Back Challenge, going up against 75 nonprofit nominees from across the firm — and we’re thrilled to share that BTSC was selected as a grant recipient.

But this is about more than a grant. It’s about how our young professionals are activating their networks and workplaces to support the mission. From volunteering and mentorship to championing BTSC in corporate social responsibility initiatives, our YPB members are helping us grow visibility, deepen relationships, and bring in new supporters who care about youth, community, and impact.

We’re also incredibly grateful to Blackstone for selecting us to receive this prestigious award. This grant will help us continue to empower Chicago youth through wrestling, enrichment and relationships.
